It's that time of year again where we all wrap up warm and begin to look forward to Halloween, bonfire night and Christmas!

Pixie boots

I am very excited to share with you a range of autumn/winter boots.
Why am I excited? Well I have had enough of 'Summer' as I wouldn't call this summer at all. Currently in Britain it is raining, cold..so cold that we have the heating on. It is AUGUST!
So I am therefor looking ahead to Autumn and winter and getting excited about Halloween, Bonfire night and most of all Christmas!!
New season means new wardrobe. I am ready to wrap up warm and put away the summer dresses and sandals.

Boots are top of the list. As I am in desperate need of a new pair, I threw away last years as the snow had ruined them!

LOVE PEACE JOY

Before I start, I'd like to apologise for the dreaded Myspace poses. I have yet to buy a tripod and this is the only way to show you what I am wearing.
A company called Zalando contacted me. Asking me to feature there site on my blog, in exchange I was given a voucher, which I could use on anything I wanted.
I picked this T-shirt. I was browsing the site for a while, and was very close to getting a pair of shoes, but I am a sucker when it comes to slogan t- shirts. The colourful writing also won me over.
I picked the size XS, as I like my t-shirts to be quite tight fitting. It has got that festival look to it, I was hoping to go to Leeds festival, which was also a reason for choosing it, however I think I'm going to London around the time of Leeds fest. Dammit!

I also love the meaning behind "The surgarman"

I had a little money let to spend after choosing the t-shirt, as I was browsing I noticed not only does zalando have fashion on there site, but also a beauty category.
I love Lip smacker lip balms, I have been after the strawberry flavour for a while (as I am strawberry mad) so I was thrilled to find that zalando sell them! :)

Zalando has free shipping. Which is always a bonus. The site has 600 brands and 40,000 products so your spoilt for choice. I decided to agree advertising there site, as a blog reader myself I love finding new fashion and beauty sites on other peoples blogs, So I hope I have helped a few of you! :)

A Spring 2011 trend

I know, Its very early to talk about next season as we have only just approached winter, but with fashion you always have to think ahead. The spring 2011 fashion shows in the USA have already taken off, Famous designers such as Marc Jacob have recently reveled thier wear for spring 2011.
After watching various videos of the new york fashion cat walks, It is very clear that White will be a massive trend next season.
White jackets,blazers,shorts,dresses,trousers,handbags...
A few more trends for spring 2011 will be flat platforms, sheer tops and trousers, and bold colours, not forgetting double denim.(A pet hate for many)
I am a lover of white I must say, it looks ever so stunning, and it always indicates that summers around the corner. I always wear my white skinnies summer time, teaming them with either sandals or heels depending on the occasion.

Grunge Glam?

I have been sent a couple of items from Shop at TW.
for those who have never heard of them, They are an online fashion store that sells unique,cute, Taiwan clothes.
I love anything unique, vintage, or floral..and they fit the mark perfectly.

The packaging.

As both items of clothing are quite thin and light weight, they came in a large envelope, with bubble wrap,
both protected in plastic sleeves.
Along with a business, contact card. Pweety!

My Favorite was this floral skirt..

A mini rara skirt, with a leather buckle which does stretch around the waist.

Look at the pretty floral pattern!

This skirt fits perfectly on me.

On to a dress, with waist coat..
This dress is a size 8, it came up quite tight on me so I would opt for a size bigger then normal.

My winter wants for 2010

It's the time of the year where you clear out your wardrobe of maxi dresses and shorts to make way for jumpers and cardigans. Goodbye summer, hello autumn and winter!
I have put together a few items I'm wanting this year. Every year I buy a new coat/jacket, along with a new scarf and gloves.

Knee high socks
This is a new fashion trend, and I must admit I'm loving it.
As seen above pixie is rocking those socks! it gives the outfit a cute girlie edge.
It may be cold, so its better to cover up with a jumper dress that sits just above the knees to keep you snug and warm.

Floral wellies
Snow in the north is quite deep and lasts for a few weeks, so wellies is a major must have.
I like any floral designs.
Republic bat wing jumper
I'm really loving bat wing top's and Jumpers at the moment. This knitted jumper looks perfect for summer and would team up with a pair of military boots that I'm in the middle of purchasing.

Boohoo boots
Every year I purchase a new pair of 'fake uggs' if that's what you like to call them, I do not have the money to splurge out on a real pair, even tho I would love to. These boohoo boots have a fur edge, which I have never bought, but thinking of doing so this year.

Boohoo knitted Cardigan
Any knitted cardigan is a must have winter want for me, I prefer grey to most colours, this boo hoo cardigan is perfect, I love the buttons and collar.

Boohoo military style jacket
I'm on the search for my 2010 winter jacket, I'm thinking of going military, if I do, this is the style I'm after.

Topshop jumper dress
I love love love jumper dresses, especially this one from topshop, Ive been after a 'Love' slogan jumper dress for a while, this paired with knee high socks and military boots makes a great outfit.

Topshop snood
Snood's are more popular then regular scarfs recently, I love them. You just pop them over your head and your good to go! this is my favorite winter want.

New look mittens
I'm loving mittens, they just look so cute, of course I will own a pair of gloves this year but I must get these! Cream or grey? decisions decisions!

New look beanie hat
How pretty is this hat? I'm thinking of getting a cream coat to go with this, its just adorable, I love beanie hats. Yorkshire is incredibly cold, I'm used to London weather which is slightly warmer, as it is a city and not so open. So a hat is essential.

Republic knitted jumper dress
Finally another jumper dress, yes I'm obsessed with them, but they go perfectly with black leggings or even jeggings.
A plain jumper dress like this with a few accessories, ugg style boots, is a great combination.

So there we have just some of my winter wants, I need to go shopping soon, as it is so cold!
