My first MAC order

I've been wanting to place a Mac order forever, but always chicken out because I haven't a clue what to go for. I live miles away from a Mac store so I had to go with pictures on the Internet and recommendations from you lovely ladies to help me with my first order. I really want to try a Mac foundation, but there are SO many to choose from, and I need to be colour matched, so when I visit home, (London) in a couple of months I'll be making a trip to mac!
So I knew I wanted to try a blush, A mineralize skin finish, and the lipglasses, as I am more of lip gloss girl then  lipstick. Here is what I got..

I am very happy with my purchases, and will defiantly making another order soon, so anymore recommendations would be lovely :)

Huge Lush Haul

I have collected quite a few lush products over the past few months, be warned this post is very picture heavy!

I was very lucky at Christmas time, my lovely boyfriend gifted me with a lush gift box

Changes to Paris Boutique

Hey everyone,
After a few months break I have returned to blogging. I decided to have a little break because I felt it was more of a chore then a hobby to post, I lost my blogging mojo if you will ;) the reason why I started my blog in the first place was to have fun writing as this is my hobby. However, I started to miss it around Christmas time, I felt like I wanted a few changes;

New name, this is the most important change to my blog, I have changed the name  from Paris Boutique to Rose Paris, I felt Paris Boutique mislead the meaning of my blog, A boutique is a shop selling fashion and jewelry items, this is my site where I write about anything from life, to reviews to cupcakes, so I decided to change the name. Rose is my middle name and Paris is my surname, I feel its more personal.

Secondly, I have a new blog layout, which I just LOVE, and it's all thanks to Ashleigh over at ASHLLYD
You can find links to certain posts in the side bar, Beauty, Reviews, Fashion etc..
also  if you click tags you will see a page of labels/contents.
I will be blogging more frequently, I have a bunch of posts lined up including a lush haul, my new dressing table and my first MAC order.
A new feature to my blog is the 'baking corner' I absolutely love baking, for everything I make I will share with you all, pictures, recipes and tips.
I think that's about it for the update, I hope you all like the new design :)

Please Read, Changes on Paris Boutique

As you probably can tell, I haven't been updating this blog as much as I did 2 years ago.

I have a lot on at the moment, all good things, but very time consuming and stressful! I am also heading to London next week, so will be absent for around 2 weeks.

The point of this post is to let you all know about some changes I have planned for Paris Boutique.

The first is I will be having a brand new layout, new content, new look, fresh start.

I will be starting Outfit of the days, once a tripod is purchased.

There will be some new content that you haven't seen before here on Paris Boutique also, like a summery of my week, updated every week without fail either on a Sunday or Monday.

I have a few things written in my note book that I want to start doing, and I am very excited about it all!

I feel as though this site is always more so about beauty products, reviews etc and I want to go in the direction of lifestyle, more about myself. I hope you've all stuck around :-)

I'll be back soon... and Paris Boutique will be better then ever.. :)

Lush and Primark

So for my birthday, I decided I wanted to go to Leeds and do a abit of shopping. :) I had my boyfriend with me, and he was ever so good, spending ages in shops without moaning! I hit H&M, Topshop, New look, Lush and Primark. I find it ever so hard to photograph clothes and make them look nice just laying on my bed. So I will show you what I bought in future outfit posts if you like. Let me know. I will buy a tripod just for the outfits too! Here are the non clothing pieces I bought on my birthday. :)

- the cutest earrings, Usually, I stay clear of gold jewellery, but these earrings are adorable and not too OTT.

I was very good in Lush, normally I spend a fortune!
-Pop in the bath bubble bar, this is the prettiest one I have bought!

I decided to buy two luxury bath melts since it was my birthday ;) I went for two I wouldn't normally go for.

I am very excited to try these! The Ceridwens Cauldron retails at £3.99, you can only use it the once. I read in the reviews that it would be a great birthday treat so I thought I would treat myself! :) I have more birthday money left over, of which I'm buying some keep sake jewellery, and other bits I have my eye on, I will share with you all of course! :)
