Naked 2 palette

I finally got my hands on Urban Decay Naked 2 palette! All of last year I was contemplating about getting the original naked palette, I was going to treat myself with my birthday money, but I soon learnt Naked 2 was launching and decided to wait. I am so glad that I did! The shades work more with my skin tone, but there are also some old favourites in there too!

Swatches of my faves; Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted, Black out

The first eyeshadow I reached for was Busted, I don't know why, maybe it's because I used to be Busteds biggest fan? ;) I love how pigmented the eye shadows are. The brush that comes with this palette is double ended, there's a full sized brush for the eye shadow, the other brush is for your crease.

Over all I think that Naked 2 is well worth the £36 that i paid. It is the most I have paid for a make up item, but I think its well worth the investment, you have 12 stunning colours. There's a variety of textures to create the look you are going for, matte, shimmer and glitter! The palette also comes with a mini lip gloss.

Have you got any of the naked pallets?

My first MAC order

I've been wanting to place a Mac order forever, but always chicken out because I haven't a clue what to go for. I live miles away from a Mac store so I had to go with pictures on the Internet and recommendations from you lovely ladies to help me with my first order. I really want to try a Mac foundation, but there are SO many to choose from, and I need to be colour matched, so when I visit home, (London) in a couple of months I'll be making a trip to mac!
So I knew I wanted to try a blush, A mineralize skin finish, and the lipglasses, as I am more of lip gloss girl then  lipstick. Here is what I got..

I am very happy with my purchases, and will defiantly making another order soon, so anymore recommendations would be lovely :)

Make up haul

Feels like forever ago I shared a make up haul with you all!
Haul's were highly requested in my giveaway comments so here we are..
A few makeup items I have ordered online recently. :)

The body shop.
I took advantage on the special offers, and got a few of the baked to last make up range pieces.
Which are all utterly gorgeous and look yummy enough to eat!

Bronzer (above) in warm glow 02.

Blusher (above) Coral 02

Very pretty eye shadow's! I just wanted them all, but I ended up choosing..

(above L-R) Quartz 04, A very pretty pink, and Sage 05, which is a very pretty two toned green.

(above L-R) Moonstone 02 very neutral colors, and Sapphire 05 a two toned starting blue.

I got sent a $50 gift card from my sponsors at Apothica, and this is what I chose!
Stay tuned because I will be giving away a $50 Apothica gift card
for you too, here on my blog.
I chose a very pretty nail polish by Spa Ritual, and I must admit the name sold me, 'strawberry feels forever' it is a very pretty pink with yellow reflects

I chose this clinique concealer in matte light. I have been after a new concealer and thought I would give this one a whirl, as clinique is a great company, so far I am impressed!

And finally a new mascara...
Maybelline pulse perfection, waterproof vibrating mascara.
I am sure you have all seen this before!

I love it!
I have bought a few more things the past few months that I will get round to putting up, as I know you love haul posts!

Lauren Conrad inspired make up for photo shoot..

Hey all!
I had a had a photo shoot on the 15/01.
I had to do my own make up and hair.
I have always gone for a dramatic look with photos.
This time round I wanted to try something a little more natural..
My inspiration came from my idol Lauren Conrad. I have her new style book (which is fab) and followed the make up steps to create her signature look..which involves bronzer, a peachy blush, nude lips and liquid eye liner.. and this how it came out...
What do you think? :)
