Lauren Conrad inspired - Nail of the day

My asos order came this morning,containing this lovely nail paint by ciate. Blue isn't normally a colour I opt for, but as I was browsing the asos sale, I came across this, and the name made me buy it....
Lauren :) a nail paint inspired by Lauren Conrad herself. I really like it, it makes a change from the normal colours I paint my nails (pink mostly) She did set a trend with this, but what do you think? would you ever wear blue nail polish?

My winter wants for 2010

It's the time of the year where you clear out your wardrobe of maxi dresses and shorts to make way for jumpers and cardigans. Goodbye summer, hello autumn and winter!
I have put together a few items I'm wanting this year. Every year I buy a new coat/jacket, along with a new scarf and gloves.

Knee high socks
This is a new fashion trend, and I must admit I'm loving it.
As seen above pixie is rocking those socks! it gives the outfit a cute girlie edge.
It may be cold, so its better to cover up with a jumper dress that sits just above the knees to keep you snug and warm.

Floral wellies
Snow in the north is quite deep and lasts for a few weeks, so wellies is a major must have.
I like any floral designs.
Republic bat wing jumper
I'm really loving bat wing top's and Jumpers at the moment. This knitted jumper looks perfect for summer and would team up with a pair of military boots that I'm in the middle of purchasing.

Boohoo boots
Every year I purchase a new pair of 'fake uggs' if that's what you like to call them, I do not have the money to splurge out on a real pair, even tho I would love to. These boohoo boots have a fur edge, which I have never bought, but thinking of doing so this year.

Boohoo knitted Cardigan
Any knitted cardigan is a must have winter want for me, I prefer grey to most colours, this boo hoo cardigan is perfect, I love the buttons and collar.

Boohoo military style jacket
I'm on the search for my 2010 winter jacket, I'm thinking of going military, if I do, this is the style I'm after.

Topshop jumper dress
I love love love jumper dresses, especially this one from topshop, Ive been after a 'Love' slogan jumper dress for a while, this paired with knee high socks and military boots makes a great outfit.

Topshop snood
Snood's are more popular then regular scarfs recently, I love them. You just pop them over your head and your good to go! this is my favorite winter want.

New look mittens
I'm loving mittens, they just look so cute, of course I will own a pair of gloves this year but I must get these! Cream or grey? decisions decisions!

New look beanie hat
How pretty is this hat? I'm thinking of getting a cream coat to go with this, its just adorable, I love beanie hats. Yorkshire is incredibly cold, I'm used to London weather which is slightly warmer, as it is a city and not so open. So a hat is essential.

Republic knitted jumper dress
Finally another jumper dress, yes I'm obsessed with them, but they go perfectly with black leggings or even jeggings.
A plain jumper dress like this with a few accessories, ugg style boots, is a great combination.

So there we have just some of my winter wants, I need to go shopping soon, as it is so cold!

Shall I go for it?

Major hair dilemma!
So I bought herbashine Ice Mahogany brown hair dye a month ago, waiting for the 'right time' to use it. Then I started reading reviews on the interwebz, mainly how bad it damages your hair and how quickly it fades!!! I'm having second thoughts, but part of me is telling me to go for it!
Have you ever used this colour, or any colour in this range?
what would you say is the best home hair dye out at the moment?
I need lots of advise!

Product Review: Alva Lipgloss

Firstly I am just going to apologise for the quality of these pictures! it has been such a dull day today and this is the best I could do.
On to the review :)
I was sent a lip gloss of my choice from Alva skincare.

The colour I chose from there 'wet' lip gloss range was Rose Wet, a lovely baby shimmery pink.This lip gloss is pretty and not at all over the top, I have quite big lips, but i found this lip gloss made them look even more plump!
The swatch I'm about to show you, doesn't give the pretty colour any justice...

You will also learn that this product is free from things such as paraffin & paraben.

I must say I'm pretty excited that pixie Lott has a collection at Lipsy!
It is however quite pricey for me...Gutted :(
however I may buy something for a photo shoot, Its going to be hard picking which one, as they are all gorge!

My christmas WANT!!

I'm already thinking about christmas, Yessss I'm mega early but what the hell I love the build up! who's with me? :)

So....I love shopping for people,but there's things that id like from Santa this year, ahem aka my boyfriend ;)

On top of this list is................PlayStation MOVE!!!

I do love my wii, but this is meant to be a million times better.

Autumn Berries

I recieved a Fashion union catalog through the post last week, and came across something I want to share with you, now were waving goodbye to summer, I'm looking forward to the autum fashion.
Somthing that caught my eye was the autumn berries collecetion!
I dont normally where any sort of purple, but im liking the look of these pieces!

here are my current faves :)Raspberry Milkshake shower and bath gel £2 from leading supermarkets.

Coconut and almond bath cream, around £2 from boots.

Angels on bare skin, cleanser, from Lush...most buy more :(

Soap and glory daily smooth body butter

NYX jumbo pencil in white

The freebies from glamour mag, which you've all seen!

Lastly, my favorite mascara at the moment, by urban decay.

Eyeko and the charming girl....

Hey Everyone!

I'm starting toady's post with something I won on a twitter competition a few weeks back,

I was kindly sent some things to review about 2 months ago.
I might be the last person to write this up & You've seen loads of these posts but hey!
I've been busy! but now im back to blogging :)
So this is what eyeko sent me...

3 nail polishes and a graffiti eyeliner pen..

These nail polishes are from there new range.
The first nail paint which you can see on the far left is 'Coral polish' altho it looks quite red on camera, its more orangery in real life.
the second nail polish which you can see below on the left is 'vampira polish'
not something I would wear on a every day basis but great for Halloween!
this is black with red glitter.
Last but not least my favorite one of the three.. 'Tea rose'
I have never seen a nail paint like this, its such a pretty unique pink!
I just love it!
My verdict on the polishes...
id give them a 4/5.They chipped after a couple of days where as my other polishes i use last about a week with a top coat..
the application was quite good,no streaks, all three needed second coats, however I felt coral and vampira could have done with a third.

Graffiti eyeliner.
Eyeko sent me this in navy, I normally go for a black eyeliner but still, I love this,
I found applying this was alot easier then any other eyeliner I've ever used,
as you can see from the picture above its like a felt tip pen, so your just drawing this onto your eye, you can judge how thick you want it, where as other eyeliners do what they want and i always end up with a thicker line then what I wanted!
I give this a 5/5
I'm going to order this in black though :)
